Your academy in Amersfoort
At Renzo Gracie Amersfoort, jiu-jitsu is about technique, confidence and improving together. We offer BJJ Gi, BJJ No-Gi and Kids BJJ at Schothorsterlaan 76 in Amersfoort.
An academy for your development
You do not need any experience to get started. We will help you choose a suitable first class. Recreational practitioners and competitors train together in an environment built around clear instruction, respect for your training partner and controlled practice.
Our approach to training
- Understand the technique. Learn positions, control, escapes and submissions step by step.
- Practise together. We work with partners and take each other’s experience into account.
- Respect on the mat. Look after your training partner and give each other room to learn.
- Progress at your own pace. From your first trial class to developing your own game.
The people behind the academy
Head coach and founder Marcin Kasprzyk is a Renzo Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, certified by the IBJJF and a certified Renzo Gracie Holland instructor. Together with coach Paweł Siwula and Kids BJJ coach Ewelina Kasprzyk, he forms our coaching team. Ewelina is a blue belt and has trained since 2022. She has gained practical coaching experience by accompanying Marcin to competitions and supporting his preparations.
Part of the Renzo Gracie family
Our academy is affiliated with Renzo Gracie Holland. Our technical lineage runs from Renzo Gracie through George Sernack and Kemail Verhoeven to Marcin Kasprzyk. This chain of teachers is our lineage: knowledge and experience passed from one generation to the next.
